As residents of Jepara, we welcome the rapid population growth and increasing industrial activities in our region, as they have contributed to the local economy. At the same time, we recognize that urban growth has not been fully matched by the capacity of the existing waste management system. This imbalance has become an important issue that requires greater attention, as waste generation continues to increase and becomes increasingly difficult to manage effectively.

Through social entrepreneurship, Nusabersih aims to educate and empower communities in Jepara about the importance of environmental health, cleanliness, and sustainability. Our current focus is to reduce the burden on the local landfill in Jepara by providing education and implementing sustainable waste management solutions. We started our journey by working with educational communities, and we continue to expand our efforts to create a wider and long-lasting environmental impact. We believe that empowering women and younger generations through environmental education will be a key foundation for creating meaningful change.
